2021 Kia Seltos

Let's start with the newest addition to the line, the 2021 Kia Seltos. Powered by a 2.0-L 4-cylinder engine, this vehicle gets a power output of 147 hp. A turbo version is available and gets 175 hp. Size-wise, it slates between the Soul and the Sportage, but the two-toned roof sets it apart from the rest. All-wheel-drive (AWD) is optional, which is something you don't get on the Soul. The turbo engine packs a punch and builds momentum as it goes, something vehicles in this segment aren't known to do.

2021 Kia Soul

The 2021 Kia Soul

Speaking of the 2021 Kia Soul, this SUV tends to rank high on car reviewers' lists of small SUVs. Why is that? After its full redesign last year, the Soul is now more spacious than most vehicles in its segment and offers a ton of standard features for a great price. With the optional turbo 1.6-L 4-cylinder equipped, the Soul can be entertaining to drive. The only downside is that you cannot get AWD as an option like you do on the Seltos.

2021 Kia Sportage

The 2021 Kia Sportage is between the Seltos and Sorento. AWD is available on the 2021 Sportage line-up. The line-topping SX Turbo's 240-hp producing turbo 2.0-L 4-cylinder engine is robust but lacks the turbo engines' sportier nature on the Seltos and Soul. The amount of cargo space aided due to its low load floor.

2021 Kia Telluride

Finally, we have the 2021 Kia Telluride. The Telluride was a grand slam when it debuted in 2020. Buyers liked its plushy padded ride comfort, a massive amount of standard safety and infotainment features, and cavernous cabin and cargo design. The Telluride has a front-wheel-drive as standard but gives you AWD as an option on all four of its trim levels. While its EPA estimates sit at 11,2L/km combined, real-world tests indicate it is around 9.8L/km combined. The V6 can also be fueled with regular unleaded, whereas many other V6 engines in this segment require premium unleaded.
